Why work with a life coach?

To be honest, the term "life coach" still makes me cringe a little...

Because it implies that I should have things figured out.

But I don’t. I am still a work in progress.

In high school, I went to my doctor and said "I am so tired all the time. Something must be wrong."

After three rounds of blood work and an endoscopy, my doctor said with a shrug..."The tests all came back fine. Are you sure you're not depressed?"

What does a 14 year old do with that kind of question?

I knew I grew up in an unhealthy household. So I went to a therapist.

I wasn't clinically depressed

At the age of 20, I did another round of blood work. Then again at the age of 24.

I was always tired. And wanted more out of life. I saw other people living vibrant lives with so much energy.

So I went to a few more therapists.

Why did my life have so much fog?

I excelled at academics and could give endlessly to my corporate job.

But I couldn't give to myself. I didn't even know I needed to.

Three years ago, I googled the difference between a life coach and therapist.

I was yearning for something... but it wasn't traditional therapy.

So I signed up to work with a life coach.

And I loved it.

I loved the energy. The possibilities.

She taught me how to reframe my thoughts.

She empowered me with tools to live life “in a good state.”

She anchored me in the life that I wanted to live.

And then taught me to believe I could live that life.

With a simple question or insight, she could shift my energy immediately (the benefit of neuroplasticity).

I wanted to learn how to give this gift to others.

And so, I embarked on this journey of life coaching.

My training was one of the most transformational experiences of my life.

It taught me the art of supporting people... at least the pieces that can be taught.

And it gave me the tools to better understand and accept myself.

It was a gift. And I wanted to give this gift to others.

In my coaching sessions, I create a safe place for you to be the truest version of yourself. I share tools that I have found helpful in my own journey. And I listen curiously, trusting my intuition, as well as helping you tune into your intuition.

I believe deeply that our body carries the wisdom of generations. Our body knows when we are not in alignment with our soul.

In addition to the inner work, I introduced mindfulness, energy medicine, nutrition and exercise. I now feel more alive than ever. And I want to help others who are looking for something more.

I still don't like the term "life coach". But I do know that people are suffering today. And I believe that I can help heal that suffering in my own unique way.

That is why I am doing this thing called life coaching... this connecting with our souls.

If you are interested in doing soul work together, book an intro session today! I'd love to share what I have learned on my journey. And see how I may be able to support you on your journey.
